Overview The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Clubs is seeking a Private Dining Sales Manager to drive private dining, restaurant buyouts, group dining, and special event sales. This role combines sales, event management, client relationship development, and guest service, with a focus on generating incremental revenue and delivering exceptional experiences. A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select customer events, is required.
The Private Dining Sales Manager will solicit, confirm and coordinate new bookings for all private dining events. This will include utilizing CI to block space, prepare contracts, and detail event orders for the clients. This Private Dining Sales Manager will prepare, implement and compile, with the assistance of a Sales Leader, yearly and quarterly strategic action plans to ensure revenue goals are achieved. The Private Dining Sales Manager will also be responsible for building relationships with and maintaining a strong network of local residential and hotel concierges.
Qualifications Proven track record in hospitality, restaurant or private event sales
Extensive experience in new business development, prospecting and lead qualification is required
Proactive sales approach, assertive and fast paced, driven to succeed
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Understanding of respective market segment, competitor's strengths, weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Creativity and innovation in developing unique event concepts
Working knowledge of banquet department (sets, AV equipment, scheduling, menu planning)
Ability to design menus in conjunction with the culinary department to maximize operating profit
Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM system, i.e. Delphi, Daylight and/or brand CRM such as Marriott CI/TY or Starwood ISAC is preferred
