Private Driver

An executive couple in Coral Gables, Florida, is seeking an experienced Private Driver to provide safe, reliable, and polished transportation support. The right candidate will bring a calm, professional presence, and understand the discretion and flexibility required.

This is a full-time, year-round opportunity for a service-oriented professional who can anticipate needs, adjust quickly to changing schedules, and support daily logistics with excellent judgment. In addition to driving, the position will include errands, deliveries, and supporting the household team.

Candidates with prior law enforcement, military, or private security experience are strongly preferred. This is a role for someone who is approachable, highly aware of their surroundings, composed under pressure, and able to develop trusted working relationships while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Preference will be given to candidates who have driven for an executive/private family in Miami and are confident navigating local routes, traffic patterns, and neighborhood logistics. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, discreet, and professional transportation
• Remain highly flexible with scheduling needs, including some evenings, weekends, holidays, long days, and short-notice changes
• Manage vehicle upkeep, including cleaning, service appointments, repairs, insurance, registration, and accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Use strong knowledge of Miami, Coral Gables, and nearby communities to plan efficient routes, monitor traffic, and minimize delays
• Assist with daily household logistics and tasks with discretion and efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience as a private driver for a UHNW family, principal, or comparable private household
• Background in law enforcement, the military, or private security strongly preferred
• EP training and strong situational awareness are a plus
• Excellent, verifiable professional references
• Extensive familiarity with Miami and surrounding communities
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some long hours
• Skilled in operating, caring for, and coordinating administrative needs for luxury vehicles
• Professional, discreet, confidential, and clear in written and verbal communication with principals, family members, and household staff
• Some spoken Spanish is a plus

Schedule

• Generally, Monday to Friday from daytime hours
• This role will require flexibility for some early starts, late finishes, weekend, and holiday work

Compensation & Benefits

• Base compensation of $125,00-$160,000 commensurate with experience

  • This is an hourly role, and overtime is paid beyond 40 hours per week
