Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Personal Care
• • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Help residents with toileting and incontinence care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
  • Support residents with eating and hydration as needed.
• Resident Support
• • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Encourage resident independence while providing appropriate assistance.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nurse or supervisor.
  • Assist residents in participating in activities and social events.
• Safety and Infection Control
• • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs.
  • Ensure resident rights, privacy, and dignity are respected at all times.
• Documentation
• • Accurately document care provided according to facility policies.
  • Report incidents, accidents, or unusual observations promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, family members, and other healthcare team members.
• Additional Responsibilities
• • Make beds and maintain resident rooms.
  • Assist with light housekeeping related to resident care.
  • Attend staff meetings and required training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
