The Private Equity Fund Accounting Associate Responsibilities Include:

• 
  
• Prepare and review daily cash activity, wire transfers, reconciliations, and cash reporting.
• 
  
• Calculate and review capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
• 
  
• Prepare quarterly cash and accrual-based journal entries.
• 
  
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• 
  
• Support year-end audit and tax reporting processes.
• 
  
• Prepare investor reporting schedules and supporting analyses.
• 
  
• Maintain fund records and assist with finance-related systems and reporting tools.
• 
  
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support ongoing fund operations and special projects.
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 
  
• 1-3 years of experience in public accounting (Audit preferred) or relevant accounting experience.
• 
  
• Experience with investment management, financial services, private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investments is a plus but not required.
• 
  
• CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 
  
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• 
  
• Desire to build a long-term career within private equity finance.
