Compensation: $200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement
Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.
Private Capital Advisors, now including Private Equity Mentors, are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing strategic, high-touch guidance to sponsors, funds, and investors while benefiting from both earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across our network.
Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Equity Mentors to provide strategic, operational, and capital-market guidance to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.
This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.
Once approved, Private Equity Mentors:
Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and operational strategy
Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and credibility
Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure
Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the ecosystem
This role is ideal for experienced private equity professionals, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior operators with a proven record of closing capital transactions or leading investment initiatives.
Approved Private Equity Mentors may:
Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning
Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution
Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance
Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors
Mentors focus on high-level strategic guidance, deal structuring insights, and relationship-driven deal activation. They do not handle day-to-day transactional modeling unless approved.
