How You'll Contribute:

Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Private Equity Tax Staff to join our growing Tax practice. In this role, you'll work with private equity funds and other investment partnerships, assisting with tax compliance, investor reporting, and partnership taxation. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals while developing technical expertise and building strong client relationships.

How You'll Contribute:

• Assist with the preparation and review of federal, state, and local partnership tax returns.
• Prepare and maintain tax workpapers supporting partnership taxable income, allocations, and investor reporting.
• Assist with the preparation and review of Schedule K-1s and other investor tax reporting.
• Review your work for accuracy, identify potential tax issues, and communicate findings to senior team members.
• Assist with tax planning and research related to partnership and investment fund taxation, identifying tax-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare tax estimates, extensions, and supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and senior staff to meet client deadlines and deliver exceptional client service.
• Maintain organized workpapers and documentation while managing multiple engagements and priorities.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws affecting private equity and investment partnerships.
