    About the firm:

We are currently partnered with a leading Private Equity shop based in Washington, DC. With just under $8B in assets under management, more than 80 successful platform investments, and a long, consistent fundraising track record spanning nearly 30 years, the team is looking to add a Private Equity Vice President to their deal team in 2026.

Private Equity Vice President Role Overview:

With continued growth expected in 2026, the team is searching for a Private Equity Vice President who is eager to lead transactions end-to-end and grow within a highly collaborative, execution focused environment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated investment professional seeking greater ownership in deal sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation.

In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership and portfolio company executives, gaining hands on experience across the full investment lifecycle and contributing meaningfully to firm wide investment strategy.

    Private Equity Vice President Responsibilities:

    • Build and review complex financial models, valuations, and investment return analyses.
    • Lead due diligence workstreams, coordinating cross‑functional advisors and internal team members.
    • Drive deal execution, including transaction structuring, negotiation support, and preparation of Investment Committee materials.
    • Partner with portfolio company leadership teams on strategic planning, operational initiatives, and performance tracking.
    • Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Mentor junior investment professionals and contribute to firm‑wide knowledge building and process improvement.

    Private Equity Vice President Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in private equity and/or investment banking.
    • Proven analytical, financial modeling, and valuation capabilities.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present confidently to senior leadership.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and lead diligence processes.
    • Experience working with operationally intensive businesses or value‑creation initiatives is preferred.
    • Interest in long‑term career growth within a middle‑market private equity platform.

If you are passionate about investing and want to join a firm with active deal flow, meaningful responsibility, and a strong record of value creation, please submit your application!
