The Private Events Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operational execution of The Park Club's private events business.This position oversees the people, processes, standards and operational planning required to successfully execute weddings, corporate functions, member celebrations, social events, dinners, receptions and large-scale Club events.Working in partnership with the Private Events Director, Service Director, Executive Chef and Club leadership, this role ensures that every event moves seamlessly from the planning phase into execution.The Private Events Operations large-scale special events.We are looking for an experienced hospitality leader to take operational ownership of this important part of our business.The OpportunityThe Park Club is seeking a Private Events Operations Manager to lead the people, planning and operational execution behind our private events.This is a management position for someone who possesses an exceptional work ethic, extremely strong attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership.The successful candidate will know how to build a team, organize an operation, manage labor, anticipate challenges and execute complicated events with confidence.You should be the type of leader who notices details before a guest or client ever has the opportunity to notice them.You plan ahead.You communicate.You delegate.You follow through.And when something does not meet the standard, you take responsibility for correcting it.What You'll LeadThe Private Events Operations Manager will oversee the operational execution of private events from finalized planning through event completion.You will lead banquet captains, servers, bartenders and event support personnel while working closely with our Private Events Director, Service Director, Executive Chef and Club leadership.Your responsibility is to take the event plan and turn it into an organized, polished and successful operation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrivate Event OperationsLead the operational execution of weddings, corporate functions, member events, private dinners, receptions and special eventsReview BEOs, timelines, floorplans and event requirements in advanceTranslate event details into clear operational plansIdentify logistical challenges before event dayOversee event setups, service execution, transitions and breakdownManage multiple events and changing priorities when requiredMaintain appropriate operational oversight throughout significant eventsTeam LeadershipLead banquet captains, servers, bartenders and event staffEstablish clear standards and expectationsConduct effective pre-event meetingsDelegate responsibilities appropriatelyHold team members accountable for performanceCoach employees and provide real-time feedbackIdentify and develop future captains and supervisorsBuild a disciplined and dependable private events teamStaffing & Labor ManagementDevelop event staffing plans based on guest count, service style and complexityPrepare employee schedules and assignmentsMonitor overtime and labor productivityAdjust staffing based on changing event requirementsPartner with leadership to manage labor while maintaining service standardsReview staffing performance following significant eventsBEO Planning & CoordinationParticipate actively in weekly BEO meetingsReview guest counts, menus, timelines, floorplans, beverage service, AV, rentals, vendors, valet and special requestsCoordinate with Culinary, Service and Private Events leadershipCommunicate concerns before they impact executionEnsure operational teams clearly understand the expectations of each eventEvent LeadershipServe as the senior operational leader during major private eventsMaintain command of the overall operation rather than becoming focused on one individual taskMonitor service timing, staffing, guest flow and culinary coordinationMake decisions quickly when circumstances changeResolve operational problems discreetlyProtect both the client experience and Club standardsStandards & Quality ControlMaintain consistently high presentation standards throughout the Club.Ensure event spaces meet expectations for:Table settingsLinensChinaGlasswareSilverwareBarsLightingTemperatureSignageService stationsGuest arrival areasBack-of-house stagingEvent cleanliness and presentationDevelop operating procedures and checklists that allow these standards to be repeated consistently.Training & DevelopmentDevelop and maintain training standards for the private events team, including:Plated serviceCocktail receptionsFormal diningTray serviceWine serviceVIP recognitionEvent timingRoom resetsGuest recoveryEvent closing proceduresOur goal is to build an event team capable of consistently executing The Park events, luxury hotel, resort, private club or high-end hospitality experience preferred2+ years of management or supervisory experienceExperience directly leading banquet or event teamsExperience with weddings, corporate events, receptions and plated dinnersStrong understanding of BEOs and event operationsExperience with labor management and employee schedulingStrong organizational and administrative skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to manage several priorities simultaneouslyLuxury hospitality or private club experience strongly preferredExperience with Tripleseat, Northstar or comparable hospitality systems is beneficialScheduleThis is a hospitality leadership position and requires flexibility based on the Club's private event calendar.Evening, weekend and occasional holiday availability will be required.The Private Events Operations Manager is expected to be present for significant and operationally complex events.CompensationAnnual Salary:
