Private Household Housekeeper / Caretaker

Job Description

Pulse Staffing is recruiting an experienced Private Household Housekeeper / Caretaker for a direct-hire opportunity with a private household in the River Oaks area of Houston.

The primary responsibility of this position is maintaining a private residence. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and understands the professionalism, discretion, and reliability required when working in a private home.

In addition to housekeeping responsibilities, this individual may occasionally assist with transportation, errands, appointments, companionship, and other non-medical personal or household needs. Previous caregiving, private-duty, home care, CNA, or personal-assistant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning throughout a large, private residence
• Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and other household areas
• Manage laundry, linens, bedding, and household organization
• Maintain household supplies and keep designated areas appropriately stocked
• Assist with errands and household-related tasks as requested
• Provide transportation or accompany the client to appointments and errands as needed
• Provide occasional companionship and non-medical personal assistance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized household environment
• Communicate professionally with the client, family, and others in the household
• Maintain strict privacy, professionalism, and confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• Must be bilingual and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
• Previous professional housekeeping experience
• Experience maintaining a large private residence strongly preferred
• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Professional, trustworthy, and discreet
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if providing transportation
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with household cleaning and an active workday

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in private household staffing, caregiving, private duty, home care, CNA work, senior support, or personal assistance is highly desirable.

Schedule Requirements

This position is approximately 32 hours per week.

Holiday availability is highly preferred.

Up to $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
