Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced swim instructor to provide personalized 1:1 private lessons and 1:2 semi-private lessons tailored to the needs and goals of each swimmer. This role also involves promoting and selling swim lesson packages while maintaining a teaching schedule of at least 5 hours per week. You’ll have the rewarding opportunity to help swimmers of all ages and skill levels build confidence, improve technique, and develop a lasting love for swimming.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 30-minute private (1:1) and semi-private (1:2) swim lessons customized to individual needs and goals.
Promote and sell swim lesson packages to clients.
Teach a minimum of 5 hours of swim lessons per week.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for swimmers of all abilities.
Track swimmer progress and provide updates to clients to celebrate achievements.
Emphasize water safety and encourage the development of strong swimming skills.
Qualifications:
Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and Swim Instruction (Red Cross or equivalent).
Proven experience in teaching private and semi-private swim lessons.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client relationships and effectively promote lessons.
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a flexible schedule.
Passionate about swimming and helping others achieve their goals.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay: $30–$35 per hour, based on experience.
