Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/h3>
  • Greet, evaluate, and assist patients with necessary care needs.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Document patient conditions and treatments while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff to provide safe, timely, and competent care.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Deliver emergency care within scope of practice, including:<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Vital signs<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Point -of -care testing<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Phlebotomy<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • EKGs<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Other emergency management tasks<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well -stocked environment.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Provide one -on -one observation for patients when needed, including those at risk of self -harm.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Answer phones, coordinate transfers, and perform additional duties aligned with hospital policies and state scope of practice.<\/span><\/span>

      Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/span><\/div>
      • High school diploma or GED.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Completion of an accredited EMT program.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Current state certification or license required.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (upon hire or within 90 days).<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Flexible schedule — weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts required.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

      • Ability to work full -time (36 hours per week) with 12 -hour shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.)<\/span><\/span>

        Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/span><\/span><\/div>
        • Minimum of one year of direct medical clinical experience preferred.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Strong service excellence skills to support quality patient care and satisfaction.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Ability to prioritize patient needs based on severity.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Strong organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently as needed.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Proficiency with Windows -based software and EMR systems.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

        • Commitment to infection control protocols and safety standards.<\/span>

        • Physical ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 35 lbs, and utilize proper body mechanics.<\/span>
