PRN AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist

Overview

We are seeking a PRN Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist to provide as-needed coverage for a well-established pathology practice serving a large regional healthcare system in South Texas. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a board-certified pathologist who enjoys practicing a broad scope of pathology while maintaining greater control over their schedule.

Whether you're looking to supplement your current practice, transition into a more flexible role, or remain clinically engaged without the commitment of a full-time position, this PRN opportunity offers a rewarding and dynamic practice environment.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
  • Fellowship training or subspecialty experience preferred
  • 2 3 years of post-fellowship experience preferred
  • Ability to commit to scheduled shifts at least two months in advance
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • General Surgical Pathology
    • Clinical pathology interpretations
    • Frozen section procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one

Physicians work alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams while handling a diverse range of surgical and clinical pathology cases.
