We're hiring Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our world-renowned Anesthesiology and Critical Care team. The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) provides anesthesia services for the highest acuity patients in the region. Summary: The Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia services to patients across the enterprise. The Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will perform safety inspections on anesthesia machines and assist with the preparation of supplies, monitoring lines and other anesthesia related equipment such as fluid warmers and warning blankets. He or she will seek prompt consultation from appropriate department members or help arrange for maintenance of malfunctioning equipment.
