• Shift Lengths: 3, 4, 8, and 12-hour shifts
• Pay starts at $20/hour

About Park Lane Nursing Home

Park Lane Nursing Home is a non-profit, 54-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility proudly serving the Scott City community. Our campus, Park Lane Senior Living, also includes 20 Independent Living Apartments and 11 Residential Healthcare Apartments, allowing us to provide a continuum of care for local seniors.

Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide hands-on care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities while promoting independence, comfort, and quality of life. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor and document resident observations, including vital signs and changes in condition.
• Promptly report concerns or changes in resident health to the nursing team.
• Assist residents during meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed to support resident well-being.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

PRN Commitment Requirements

To maintain active PRN status, team members are expected to:

• Work a minimum of 8 hours per month.
• Work two holidays per calendar year.
• Maintain flexibility to assist with staffing needs when available.

Qualifications

• Active Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Health Care Aide certification.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred; however, motivated new CNAs are encouraged to apply.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Dependable work ethic and commitment to resident-centered care.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and daily living activities.
