Role Summary
The First Impression Specialist (PRN) creates a welcoming environment for patients and families while supporting clinic operations on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for someone organized, dependable, and customer-focused who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients; collect insurance and payments
- Answer and route phone calls
- Provide snacks and a positive, family-friendly experience
- Maintain front desk and waiting area organization
- Support patients, families, and clinic staff as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- 1+ year experience in front office, reception, or medical setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with electronic medical records (E Clinical Works a plus)
- Professional, reliable, and flexible availability
Schedule
- PRN (as needed) position; no guaranteed or fixed schedule
