BrightStar Care of Hunterdon County is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Critical Care, Trach, and Ventilator experience for an immediate overnight PRN home health opportunity.Position DetailsPosition: PRN Home Health RN – Critical Care / Trach & VentShift: Overnight, 12 hoursHours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AMSchedule: Sunday, Monday, and ThursdayPay: $95.00 per hourLocation: Hunterdon County, NJRequired QualificationsCurrent, valid New Jersey RN licenseMinimum 2 years of RN experienceMinimum 2 year of ICU/Critical Care experienceMinimum 2 years of Trach and Ventilator experienceCurrent driver's license and reliable vehicle with auto insuranceStrong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skillsCompassionate, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a care teamResponsibilitiesProvide skilled tracheostomy and ventilator care in the patient's homeMonitor and manage the patient's mechanical ventilator and respiratory statusPerform trach care, suctioning, and airway assessment as neededMonitor for changes in respiratory status and respond promptly to alarms or complicationsAssess lung sounds, oxygen saturation, vital signs, and overall patient conditionAdminister medications and treatments as orderedRecognize and respond appropriately to changes in the patient's conditionMaintain emergency preparedness and follow the patient's respiratory care planProvide education and support to the patient and family/caregiversAccurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responsesCommunicate changes in condition with the appropriate healthcare teamProvide compassionate, one-on-one critical care while maintaining patient safety and comfort Interested in joining our team?
