What You'll Do:
Provide speech-language pathology services in home health settings
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine communication and swallowing needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercises
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology, particularly in geriatrics and home health
Qualifications:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington state
Current BLS certification
One to two years of experience as an SLP preferred
Home health or hospice experience preferred, but not required
Licensed driver with an insured automobile
