What We're Looking For
Novant Health is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to cover shifts in our Charlotte Region hospitals
Opportunity Highlights:
- 12 hour day shift
- Weekend and weekday shifts available
- Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients in our behavioral health unit
- Option to pick up shifts at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC and Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
- Current MD license in appropriate state
- Current DEA license required
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Patient population: 18+ for acute care
- Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
- Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff
