PRN: Massage Therapist - (250007UU)

 What You Will Do

• Provide massage therapy services to our customers.
• Responsible for adhering to the standards and ethics of the Exhale Spa and the State Medical Board of Ohio
• Continues to market self for future business
• Maintains client confidentiality

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

 

 Education

• High School Equivalent / GED (Required)

Work Experience

• 2+ years Experience in 2 or more disciplines of massage techniques (Required) and
• 1+ years customer service experience (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to document massage intake forms on each client (Required proficiency)
• Strong communication skills (Required proficiency)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (Required proficiency)
• Clientele following (Preferred proficiency)
• Knowledge of products used in spa (Preferred proficiency)
• Ability to use tools and accessories associated with the massage (for example: warm towels, hot stones, etc) (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED within 90 Days (Required)
• Licensed by the Ohio State Board (Required) and
• Maintains competencies: license and certifications must remain current at all times (Required)
