What You'll Do

As a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You'll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our collaborative treatment environment.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight, empowerment, and recovery
• Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
• Case management services such as, but not limited to, coordinated care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate
• Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from one level of care to another
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring  

Required:  

• Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field 
• Active independent licensure: LPC, LSW, LCSW
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma- informed care
• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment 
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) 
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth 

Preferred:

• EMDR training or certification
• Experience working with adults in substance use recovery or OTP setting
• Comfort working with both adolescents and adults.
