HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Our physician partners are a key component to our success and we work closely with them to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes. Qualified Candidates APCP American board certification requiredComfortable with the full scope of AP and CP for community hospital practiceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsActive Florida Medical License or eligible to obtain Pathology VolumeCases Volumes - approximately 4000 surgical cases per year and 1000 non-gyn cytology cases per year 5 peripheral smears per week and less than 1 blood bank review per weekProcedures frozen sections and rapid on-site assessments - less than 10 per weekFawcett has approximately 250 beds with a variety of anatomic pathology specimens including breast colorectal thoracic urologic and bone marrow specimens.The practice consists of two pathologists who also remotely cover the surgical and cytology volumes at HCA Florida Englewood hospital 100 beds with approximately 1400 surgical specimens and 100 non-gyn cytology specimens per year.
