Job Overview
As a PCT on the PostâSurgical Unit, you’ll support nurses in caring for patients recovering from orthopedic, general, urology, bariatric, gynecology, and other surgical procedures. You’ll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and provide compassionate care during early recovery. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to support patients physically and emotionally after surgery.

The PostâSurgical Unit is a 22âbed department caring for patients recovering from orthopedic, general surgery, urology, bariatric, gynecology, plastic, and oral/maxillofacial procedures. The team works closely with surgeons, therapy services, dietitians, and wound care specialists to support physical, mental, and emotional recovery after surgery.
