These individuals will work directly with the coordinators, investigators, and other research staff to ensure clinical trial patient visits are being completed in accordance with protocol guidelines.Position Type: PRN/Per-DiemPay Range:$23 - $27/hrLocation:Escondido, CA (no capabilities for remote or hybrid)Travel:0%Work Schedule: Shifts vary from 4-8 hours between the hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmResponsibilities:Provide services including administration of medications, as directed by the physiciansEnsure safety and welfare of each research participantCheck vital signs and record daily information in the participant's chartCollect and prepare laboratory specimensPerform basic laboratory tests to include urine pregnancy test and urine drug testsPerform lab drawsPerform ECGsMaintain detailed and accurate documentation related to research participantsProvide status updates and communicate with team related to research participantsRequirements:Certified Medical Assistant in California preferredCurrent and valid California Phlebotomy License preferredMinimum 1 year experience in medical field or clinical researchIntermediate to advanced computer and phone skillsBilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
