Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions Physical Therapy partners with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa - San Marcos to provide quality occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology in the acute care setting. CHRISTUS Santa Rosa - San Marcos is a 170-bed facility recognized as a Level 4 Trauma Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center. As a clinician here you will evaluate, treat, and reassess patients in all areas of the hospital including the intensive care unit, progressive care unit, medical-surgical unit, and outpatient surgery. CHRISTUS Santa Rosa - San Marcos has a diverse patient population that includes orthopedics (trauma and elective surgeries), neurological disease process or injuries, general surgery, pulmonary disease processes and cardiac disease processes.

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

 

Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Physical Therapist

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to exceed their functional outcome
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)

Qualifications & Pay Range:

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE approved physical therapy program
• Current or pending state licensure
• Basic Life Support certification

Compensation

 

Pay Range: $35.00-$40.00 an hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
