    Description

Family or Internal Medicine Physician, PRN

    San Antonio, Texas

Practice Medicine the Way You Always Imagined

Do you miss having the time to truly listen, educate, and help people improve their health? At Health by Design, we've built a practice model that allows physicians to focus on what matters most-caring for patients.

Our value-based primary care model eliminates the pressure of RVUs and high-volume schedules, replacing them with meaningful patient relationships, collaborative care, and the time to practice thoughtful medicine.

Health By Design is seeking Primary Care Physicians who are interested in working on a PRN ("as needed") basis. Due to unprecedented growth and the opening of new clinics, we are currently seeking several Texas licensed Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians.

    Practice Medicine-Not Production Medicine

Forget the pressure of seeing 25-30 patients every day. Our physicians typically see 8-14 patients daily, allowing you to provide comprehensive, personalized care instead of rushing from room to room.

    • Smaller patient panels
    • Time to educate patients
    • Time to build relationships

You are never expected to manage everything on your own. Our integrated care model surrounds both physicians and patients with an experienced multidisciplinary care team that works together every day, including working with Registered Nurses. Shifts will always be between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. No late clinics, no weekends and no call. Administrative time is built into your morning and afternoon schedule, with nothing to take home when you leave for the day!
