This role spans the full perioperative experience, supporting patients from preoperative preparation through recovery in PACU. You are not assigned to a single phase of care-you are actively involved in the entire surgical journey.

About the Role
The Preop/PACU RN provides comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory surgical center, including preoperative assessment, intra- and post-procedure monitoring, and recovery support.
This role applies the nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes while supporting physicians and maintaining clinical and regulatory standards.
What You Will Do
- Assess, monitor, and care for patients throughout preoperative and PACU phases
- Prepare patients for surgery and ensure safe transition into and out of the operating room
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and clinical protocols
- Support physicians with perioperative procedures and patient care activities as needed
- Document all care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with policy and regulatory standards
- Maintain patient safety, infection control compliance, and effective communication across the care team
