Overview We are seeking a dedicated PRN (as-needed) Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role involves providing expert speech therapy services to pediatric and adolescent patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric speech therapy, experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care. Qualifications Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, including early intervention strategies. Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions through in-person sessions or telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility for all patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams-including physicians, psychologists, and educators-to coordinate care plans that support overall patient well-being. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress Educate patients' families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home and in daily activities. Stay current with advances in speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric populations. Skills Proven experience working with children in school or clinical settings; pediatrics experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of speech therapy practices for individuals with disabilities across developmental stages. Excellent patient care skills combined with the ability to assess communication functions comprehensively. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing functions. Ability to work independently within a flexible PRN schedule while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
