Position Details
- Schedule: Variable Monday–Friday with some weekend availability required
- Status: PRN (as needed)
- Pay Range: $16–$18/hour based on experience

Summary
Provides safe and reliable transportation for residents to appointments, outings, and community activities. Supports the transportation needs of the campus while ensuring safety, timeliness, and excellent customer service.
Essential Functions
- Provide safe, courteous, and reliable transportation for residents
- Assist with scheduled trips, appointments, and outings
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicles
- Follow DOT guidelines and complete required transportation logs
- Use Worx Hub to manage and track transportation schedules
- Report any incidents, concerns, or resident issues to appropriate staff
- Support transportation needs across all levels of care
- Complete required trainings (annual, quarterly, monthly)
- Follow all policies while maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality
- Availability for some evenings and weekends
Qualifications
CDL Requirement:
This position requires a valid CDL Class A or B license with Passenger (P) endorsement. Candidates without this requirement will not be considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license
- Prior driving or transportation experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience working with older adults preferred
- Ability to obtain CPR/BLS certification within 5 months of hire
- Familiarity with Worx Hub (preferred)
