Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Pro Staff & Sponsorship Manager to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. In this role you will ensure Yamaha receives maximum value from contractual relationships with pro staff by making them key communicators for Yamaha brand and product messages. You will manage sponsorships to optimize Yamaha presents at tournaments. You will also represent Yamaha at events where and when necessary to maintain relationships with pro staff, delegating to others when possible.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for mentoring, managing, and developing direct reports, including the Sr. Pro Staff & Sponsorship Specialist and Marketing Specialist.
  • Manage Pro Staff communications and coordinated plans to fulfill time and sponsorship obligations outlined in Yamaha angler agreements.
  • Primary contact with B.A.S.S. Professional Anglers (Pro Staff) and will ensure Yamaha presence at all B.A.S.S. Elite Events.
  • Manage sponsorship budget allocation to identify and support the most impactful opportunities for the Yamaha brand.
  • Maintain budget for Helm Master, In-Water and B.A.S.S events.
  • Provide technical expertise within the Sponsorship and Events group.
  • Write and publish internal communication with Pro Staff working with the Communications Manager.
  • Support and work with Government Relations, Communications and social media for use of Pro Staff and content.
  • Coordinate with sales, service and tournament support staff to provide tournament and event resources.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Psychology.
  • 5 + years of tournament and sponsorship logistics preferred.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong email communication skills.
  • Industry knowledge and experience in boating, fishing, and tournament activities preferred.
  • Team player with strong communication and organizational skills; ability to complete multiple projects with short deadlines.
  • Ability to travel alone over extended periods of time including weekends.
