Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a reputable Orange County law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a background in probate, trust, estate, or civil litigation. This position offers the opportunity to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, court filings, trial preparation, and document production.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Manage discovery, subpoenas, and document productions.
  • Assist with witness preparation and trial support.
  • Maintain case files and monitor deadlines.
  • Review legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, and outside parties.
  • Handle multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in probate, trust, estate, or civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of California probate and civil procedure.
  • Excellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.

Education & Requirements

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, CP/CLA designation, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must meet paralegal qualifications under California Business and Professions Code 6450.
