Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well-established law firm in Redlands to identify an experienced Paralegal to join its team. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting attorneys in both the local office and remotely based colleagues.
Position Overview
The Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys with probate, conservatorship, and civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
- Prepare and assist with probate accountings
- Draft, format, and revise discovery, pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Manage calendaring, deadlines, and court schedules
- Handle service and transmittal of legal documents and correspondence
- Coordinate with process servers, court reporters, experts, and other third parties
- Perform in-person and electronic filings with various California county courts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant paralegal experience in a law office setting
- Experience with probate proceedings, conservatorships, and accountings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of civil discovery and litigation procedures
- Solid understanding of California state and local court rules
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
