Role Description

The People's Firm is seeking an experienced Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong probate court experience to support a busy practice.

What You'll Do:

\n

• \n
• Prepare and file probate court documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and closing statements
• \n
• Manage probate case files from opening through estate closure
• \n
• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
• \n
• Communicate with courts, clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions
• \n
• Track filing deadlines and ensure compliance with court procedures
• \n
• Coordinate notices to creditors, heirs, and interested parties
• \n

What We're Looking For:

• \n
• 5+ years of paralegal experience in probate and estate planning
• \n
• Strong working knowledge of probate court procedures, local rules, and filing requirements
• \n
• Experience with e-filing systems
• \n
• Proficiency in drafting trust and estate documents
• \n
