Probate Paralegal

Farr Law Firm P.A. is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and highly organized Probate Paralegal to join our Punta Gorda office. In this full-time, in‐person role, you’ll independently manage key aspects of estate and trust administration; from court filings to asset transfers to meaningful client communication.

A Day in the Life

Your work may include:

• Client Communication – Supporting clients through the probate process and reviewing financial documentation with care and clarity
• Document Preparation – Drafting, organizing, and managing legal documents for attorney review
• Asset Management – Assisting with the collection, valuation, and liquidation of estate assets
• Creditors’ Claims – Reviewing, tracking, and managing claims filed against the estate
• Tax Filings – Assisting with estate tax returns and related filings
• In‐office schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Word)
• 2+ years of experience in probate or estate planning (paralegal or legal assistant)
• Knowledge of fiduciary accounting is a plus
• Experience as a Probate Paralegal preferred, not required
• Florida Registered Paralegal designation is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree helpful but not required
