Job Summary
The starting wage for this position will depend upon qualification and experience.
To provide supervision and case management services to clients who have been convicted of a domestic related crime, as well as provide support and resources to their victims. Provide the Court with written and verbal recommendations to assist in the issuance of an appropriate evidence based disposition. Act as a liaison between the Bench, county departments, local/state/federal agencies, treatment providers, service providers, victims, the public to assist clients in establishing and maintaining a positive support network in the community. This position requires nontraditional hours including, nights and weekends. Other duties as assigned.
All tasks will be performed in accordance with county and department policy and procedure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Examples of typical duties may include but are not limited to the following. Regular attendance according to the department approved work schedule and developing and maintaining respectful and cooperative working relationships is required of all Sherburne County positions.
Minimum Qualifications
Formal academic preparation (or equivalent) to qualify for the position.
Four-year Bachelor's Degree with a major in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related field; and completion of a 400 hour internship in a related field.
Experience in supervising adult probation and/or supervised release clients. Experience supervising domestic violence clients and their victims is preferred.
