Requirements
Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential or eligibility for internship waiver OR Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing with Special Class Authorization
Candidates currently enrolled in a Speech-Language Pathology Credential program who anticipate program completion prior to the start of the school year (August 2025) are encouraged to apply. Speech-Language Pathology students must provide a letter from the university verifying enrollment and status in a commission-approved program. We will consider candidates with current qualifications for a Speech Language Pathology Services Credential waiver through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and can provide supervision for qualified CFY candidates seeking to complete their CCCs.

Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, 186-day work year
Salary: Placement on the School Nurse & Speech Language Pathologist salary schedule according to experience and educational units. We award unlimited years of previous SLP experience for placement on the salary schedule. Qualifies for Districts portion of health benefits for self and eligible dependents.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Knowledge of methods and strategies used to instruct bilingual, culturally diverse students. • Ability to assess students referred for possible speech-language impairments and adhere to state and district criteria for eligibility. • Collaborates with school site teams and families to support student growth.
