Procedure Schedule Coordinator

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Procedure Scheduler Coordinator to work at our East Norriton, PA location.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Register all patients in Athena for accurate scheduling and billing
• Schedule all testing ordered during the Pre Admission Testing Appointments for the Cath Lab
• Coordinate with surgical team to report testing results timely for clearances
• Escalate pending studies to office managers and/or physicians for timely sign off and turnaround
• Schedule hospital cardiac catheterizations with local coordinators
• Import all external documents into EMR for patients scheduled for testing

• Obtain insurance referrals when required for upcoming testing appointments

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Cardiology experience is a plus
• Clinical experience required
• Knowledge of Hospital and Procedure scheduling
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Must be detail oriented and well organized

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
