Process and Assembly Technician -- Air Pollution Control Systems

If you enjoy solving problems, working with hand tools, and seeing quality products come to life, this Process and Assembly Technician role is for you.

Your mission

Own the details that keep production moving: prepare materials, run and adjust equipment, and assemble components with care. You’ll collaborate in productivity meetings, capture key production data, and uphold safety and quality throughout.

Impact you’ll make

• Champion 5S to sustain a tidy, organized, and safe work area.
• Set up machines and tools for planned runs and assemblies.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment; make on-the-fly adjustments.
• Process raw materials (including thermoplastics); support shipping and receiving.
• Assemble fans and system subcomponents using standard hand tools.
• Inspect in-process and finished work; record measurements and pass/fail results.
• Troubleshoot everyday issues; perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Log scrap, downtime, and any process deviations with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to environmental, quality, and safety requirements; pitch in on other tasks as needed.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in manufacturing/production/assembly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Working knowledge of PPE and safe work practices.

Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, moving equipment and other standard industrial conditions, and is required to wear to personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Physical Demands: Positions in this function typically require standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
