Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Act as Competence Center Customs and be responsible for overseeing all processes related to outside brokerage services within AMERICAS
  • Work to improve processes and drive efficiency whether handled locally or on the corporate level
  • Work with process management persons or departments within the company regarding cross-functional subjects
  • Provide support to operations especially regarding interfaces between transportation and broker processes
  • Closely coordinate activities with proper counterparts at LTLS and LHT
  • Liaison with relevant IT departments
  • Analyze operational KPI's covering performance and workload
  • Regularly review and analyze customs-relevant material movements and KPIs for LTLS/LTCS customers as well as LHT
  • All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree desirable
  • At least 3 years of professional experience required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge in Aviation MRO, aviation logistics, transportation, Import/Export, supply chain and/or industrial engineering required
  • Knowledge in ProX academy, process management, performance management, power BI and/or Tableau desirable
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint/Visio
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 or other ERP system is desirable
  • Excellent use of email, internet, and other computer tools
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
