Career Opportunities: Process Control Administrator (6445)Under minimal supervision, the Process Control Administrator is responsible for maintaining bulk wine inventory movements to support Federal regulatory records. Collaborates with Compliance, Winemaking Planning. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Functional ResponsibilityAuthorizes wine movements, ingredient additions, and other winemaking processes to take place at all Delicato bonded facilities by using the DV System to verify the information received from the Cellar staff falls within established allowable tolerancesReviews Production Orders to reduce complexity and mitigate associated inventory risk prior to authorizing starting status; may include corrective or preventative actionMonitors Production Order status (draft, open, released, printed, started) and completes line detail operations in DV System for all Delicato bonded facilities, resulting in the creation of government records to support Federal requirementsCollaborates cross-functionally, building effective working relationships with business partners in the Federal Compliance, Winemaking, Planning, and Cellar departments to respond to questions, provide recommendations, and achieve shared objectivesEvaluates and updates ‘in process' Production Orders in support of end-of-month closing to ensure required government reporting can be executed by Federal Compliance and AccountingReconciles daily bottling for all Delicato bonded facilities; addresses potential gains/losses and requests regauges or recounts, where necessary; submits to Federal Compliance once complete to support government regulatory requirementsWorks with the Federal Compliance Auditors to resolve identified discrepancies; may be responsible for correcting entriesCompiles bulk wine inventory documents, reviews for accuracy, and releases/delivers to Federal Compliance in support of Industry regulatory audits such as ISO, Food Safety, or TTB auditsAssists the department manager/supervisor in investigating processing discrepancies to resolve gauging and timing issuesCreates and updates Production Orders for all Delicato bonded facilities on behalf of Bottling, Lab, Planning, and WinemakingAssists all Delicato bonded facilities with shipping and receiving by associating weigh tags to Production OrdersAssembles and reconciles daily harvest grape receiving crush order packets, related crush order reports, and weigh tags with DV System reports prior to delivering packets to Federal Compliance; where there are discrepancies, responsible for coordinating through resolutionSupports and backs-up Bulk Scale operations with coveragePerforms audits of the Device Net System to confirm refrigeration jackets are in the correct positionsSupports Materials Handler with verifying data and assist with entering ingredients into DV System to support Food Safety CertificationProvides aid in critical situations by being a contact point and hub for evacuation notificationCompiles tank variance information by researching historical wine movements in order to update the Tank Variance Book with accurate information*Other duties may be assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred2+ years in a compliance/process auditing role, preferably within the wine industryKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and experienced with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systemsStrong analytical skills; works effectively with numbers and spreadsheetsHighly detail orientedExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenStrong customer service orientation; highly professional and pleasant dispositionStrong organizational skills; effective multitaskerAbility to prioritize and quickly access what needs to be doneThrives well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentEffective team player; maintains a positive attitudeWorking ConditionsGeneral office environmentIndoor and outdoor environment with exposure to the elements/temperature variationsExposure to weather-related temperature & humidity extremesExtended HoursShift RotationWork in close quarters or confined spacesExposure to varying levels of dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipmentWork StandardsActs in a manner reflective of the Company culture of High Moral Standards, Innovation and Continuous Evolution, Trust in Team, Continuous Improvement, and Sustainable RelationshipsCommunicates, interacts, and works effectively with others; receptive to feedback and coaching; voices concerns in a constructive mannerDemonstrates commitment to safety first; communicates safety concerns; promotes a safe work environment based on established safety standards and trainingFollows all Company policies and proceduresAdditional CommentsManagement retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.California Pay Transparency Disclaimer: This is a Non-Exempt position.
