Under the direct supervision of the Navy Operations Manager, the PCA manages the lifecycle of work candidates, performs technical research to identify replacement parts, and assists maintenance personnel with maintenance administration record updates. The Analyst maintains the hands-on database speed and accuracy required to support daily operations, ensuring that the project's digital logs match real-world equipment statuses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process, input, track, and close out maintenance work candidates in the OMMS-NG database, ensuring 100% data integrity and correctness.

    • Extract data and compile routine daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and supply tracking reports for review by management team.
    • Liaise directly with Government technical representatives and Maintenance Contractor supervisors, maintenance technicians, mechanics, and supply clerks to clarify technical discrepancies, verify part numbers and warehouse inventory availability, and confirm status of work.
    • Perform routine data cleansing, validate open job backlogs, archive completed records, and resolve administrative errors within the OMMS-NG and associated R-Supply datasets.
    • Document related maintenance administration requirements using Microsoft Office software to include Sharepoint.
    • Execute work tasks in strict accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety/security regulations. Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and suggest practical workflow improvements for related work procedures.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Associate degree, or coursework toward a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
    • In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma combined with formalized military training (e.g., NEC or "C" schools) is highly valued and may be considered.
    • Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience working directly in the U.S. Navy OMMS-NG system. Previous successful performance as a Departmental Maintenance Assistant/Coordinator is ideal.
    • Understanding of U.S. Navy Support Element (NSE) watercraft or Naval Construction Element (NCE) Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) is preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software to include Excel (data sorting, filtering, basic formatting) and general database usage.
    • Demonstrate satisfactory written and oral communication skills for coordinating with Government Technical Representatives and Prime Contractor managers, supervisors and technicians.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Must possess an active Secret security clearance (or have the immediate ability to obtain one) to access government networks.
    • Must pass a background check to access Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island.
