    Process Control Engineer IISummaryThe Process Control Engineer II is a senior technical leader responsible for advanced control system strategy, optimization, and complex project execution across the facility at our WestMonroe, LA Mill.Job FunctionJob functions include but are not limited to the following.Design, develop, implement, and maintain control systems (DCS, PLC, HMI)Develop and optimize control strategies to improve safety, quality, and productivityPerform diagnostics and root-cause analysis of instrumentation and electrical control systemsSupport and maintain process control networks and associated IT/OT infrastructureLead small to mid-sized projects, including upgrades and migrationsCollaborate with operations, maintenance, IT, and external vendorsManage system changes, documentation, and standardsProvide on-call or day-to-day support for process control systemsBackground / Experience4-7 years of experience in process control or industrial automationStrong experience with DCS and PLC systemsExperience supporting plant operations and executing capital or improvement projectsEducation / KnowledgeBS in Electrical, Electrical Technology, Chemical, Computer Engineering, or related fieldSpecific SkillsExperience with Honeywell Experion DCS configuration and graphics.Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix / Studio 5000Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systemsExperience with industrial data acquisition and historiansWorking knowledge of OT networking (industrial Ethernet, switches, firewalls)Familiarity with virtualized environmentsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsGraphic Packaging is an equal opportunity employer and abides by all applicable federal, state provincial and local laws with respect to the recruitment and hiring process.
