Process Controls Engineer (Portage, WI)

Salary: $110-165K

What your future day will look like:

• Ensure reliable operation of plant control and automation systems.
• Improve PLC, HMI, and industrial system performance and stability.
• Deliver electrical and controls project scopes on schedule and budget.
• Travel between sites to support and enhance control systems.
• Design and manage power distribution, PLC systems, and HMI applications.
• Address component obsolescence and implement reliability improvement projects.
• Oversee service contracts to maximize value and system support.
• Approve electrical drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and coordinate work for engineers, programmers, and designers.
• Apply Lean principles to improve reliability, quality, and system performance.

Type: Direct Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, Associate’s Degree required
• 3+ years in an industrial controls role with hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, power distribution
• Experience in a chemical or liquid food processing plant preferred
