SUMMARY
The Process Coordinator is responsible for supporting the shift team in the development of systems and processes to improve overall refinery performance, including rounds PM execution, process troubleshooting, etc. The Process Coordinator reports to the Operations Superintendent.
DESCRIPTION
Assure operator and maintenance PMs are executed on schedule and report deviations. Owns operator Rounds and Routine Duties calendars. Reviews for problems and gains input from resources for continuous improvement. Reviews and marks procedures for updates and improvements as needed in area. Monitors KPVs and advises shift team of actions needed to stay inside KPVs. Participates in PHAs. Owns process operating envelope for safe, compliant, and reliable production. Works with Process Safety and Reliability groups to develop SOLs for area. Monitors compliance with SOLs and investigates deviations. Reviews bypassed alarms, procedures bypassed control valves, and SIS systems routinely. Owns alarm priority and nuisance alarm management. Owns assigned incident investigations. Routinely audits area housekeeping and crew safety procedures, safe work permitting, etc., as set by Superintendent. Owns execution of operating plan in area within defined limits. Assures execution of process and water treatment programs. Investigates quality issues. Drives yield and energy optimization. Backfills for some Reliability Coordinator functions as needed.
