The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and SOPs.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor process performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities through process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all process designs and operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with process optimization, statistical process control (SPC), and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage continuous improvement projects and cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python) for process optimization and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and their application in manufacturing processes.
