Process Engineer

Atrenne is currently seeking a Process Engineer II to join our Manufacturing team.

SUMMARY Provide shop floor support to operators and participate in process optimization, product design and program improvements.

\n

\n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

2. Develop robust process plans that are safe, cost effective and perform to internal and customer requirements.

\n

\n

2. Analyze space requirements and workflow and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. \n

\n

\n

2. Review production tools, equipment methods and processes, identifying alternatives and execute individual or group projects to integrate changes.
3. \n

\n

\n

1. \n
2. Confer with vendor to determine product specifications and materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
3. \n

\n

\n

1. \n
2. Participate in design meetings and provide feedback on the costs or risks of different design options.
3. \n

\n

\n

2. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
3. \n

\n

\n

1. \n
2. Implement maintenance plans as needed to ensure reliability of equipment.
3. \n

\n

\n

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering with minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience in performing similar duties.

\n

\n

Must possess high-level interpersonal skills to work effectively with employee teams, management and vendors.Must be able to provide training to groups or individuals as needed.

\n

\n

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS An ability to grasp engineering level concepts in areas such as machining, basic chemical processes, additive manufacturing and electromechanical assembly The ability to visualize and create tooling and fixtures to facilitate these processes.

\n

\n

Knowledge of Lean Implementation, Six Sigma methodology, CAD/CAM and Statistical techniques.Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills and proven ability to transform a concept into a practical solution. Ability to travel as some travel may be required.

\n

\n

COMPUTER SKILLS Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint; familiar with Autodesk Inventor, Pro E or Solidworks.

\n

\n

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to explain concepts of risk, process performance and requirements to production staff. The ability to understand subjective explanations or symptoms from production staff and deduct quantitative problem statements. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

\n

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

\n

\n

REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

\n

\n

Target Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 annual salary
