Summary:
The Building 3 Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance to drive continuous improvement in a cGMP environment and support the plant’s operational goals.

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (experience in cGMP (food or excipient) manufacturing is a plus).
•Experience with cGMP bottling lines and/or extraction equipment is a plus
•Champion and embodiment of CPS Core Values
•Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and control.
•Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SPC).
•Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
•Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
•Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements relevant to the manufacturing industry.
•Willingness to accept the demands of a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

•Willingness to continue education and personal development for the purposes of staying up to date with industry, technology, and regulatory requirements.

Location:
•Reading Campus (primary work location) – 98% of time
•East Greenville Campus (secondary location) – 2% of time

•Work is performed in a manufacturing plant environment with regular exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
•Employee will be required to don and doff process-specific personal protective equipment (PPE) including appropriate safety shoes, dust respirators, etc.
•Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
•May require occasional off-shift or weekend work to support production or projects.
