The Process Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical expertise and engineering support, leading process optimization and process troubleshooting efforts, and providing as-needed capital project support. This role will also work closely with new product introduction, scale-up, and feasibility studies.
The process engineer will be expected to perform process engineering duties, including, but not limited to, maintaining/updating/creating P&IDs, process flow diagrams, interlocks, and control schemes; developing process design calculations to support process optimization, process hazard analysis, and capital projects; and supporting process optimization, process hazard analysis, and capital projects.
As needed, support from the process engineer will be required for the plant DCS and PLC systems, including troubleshooting assistance and minor programming needs. The process engineer will have primary responsibility for the plant DCS, PLC, process historian, and PI process book.
