The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Cadillac that are seeking skilled Process Engineers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Design, implement, and validate new equipment and process changes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement using statistical methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful process integration.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including P&IDs and work instructions.
- Support new product introductions by defining and establishing manufacturing processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, and manufacturing process controls.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and certifications (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
- Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) for process modeling and optimization.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate process insights.
- Knowledge of automation technologies and their application in manufacturing processes.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems.
