Process Engineer - Chemical Manufacturing - Quincy, MA

As the Process Engineer, you will improve processes and achieve efficiencies across the company's key chemical manufacturing operations unit. As a critical member of the operations team, you will troubleshoot processes, develop documentation, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Description

Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring efficient, effective, and safe manufacturing of product
• Improve manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot plant processes
• Support product and process commercialization
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation
• Identify downtime causes and suggest solutions
• Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid flow, pumping, piping, instrumentation
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment
