Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Type: Fulltime (Direct Hire)
Overview
We are seeking highly motivated talent with experience in process engineering and project process design. This is a key role at that will align you with experienced project engineers. You will have the opportunity to see your process designs from concept development through start-up in unique locations across the globe.

Overview
We are seeking highly motivated talent with experience in process engineering and project process design. This is a key role at that will align you with experienced project engineers. You will have the opportunity to see your process designs from concept development through start-up in unique locations across the globe.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead or assist with technical evaluation for new and existing process units to meet our client needs
- Support and perform flow sheet creation, equipment sizing calculations, provide design documentation, development equipment specifications and scope of work packages with vendors and contractors
- Validate and approve vendor packages, drawings, data sheets and P&ID’s
- Assist in 3D model reviews and equipment layouts
- Provide technical support for commissioning and start-ups
- Potential to grow into Project Manager for engineering deliverables and schedule
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Other degrees will be considered pending prior experience.
- Experience: Ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of related experience in project process design or a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of P&ID development
- Perform heat and material balances
- Understand fundamentals of hydraulic and equipment sizing calculations (pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, control valves, instruments, etc)
- Referencing industry standards and best practices for process design.
- Former on-site experience and Operations experience is a plus!
- CHEMCAD or similar simulation software, Microsoft products, Bluebeam (or PDF equivalent for drawing markups), Heat Exchanger software, Navisworks (3D Model Reviews).
- Licensure: PE preferred but not required
